Banyan Tree Phuket 

Located on the Andaman Sea, this resort has received many accolades from travel magazines. It's very secluded and a great spot for romance. It's 20 minutes from the airport. The spa provides massages, beauty and body treatments.

There's an 18-hole golf course with a driving range and putting greens. Other facilities include a lap pool, free-form pool, sailing, wind-surfing, canoeing, business centre, library and a leading corporate training facility.

There are 7 restaurants and bars. They serve traditional Thai, American and Mediterranean cuisine as well as great seafood.

Accommodation is in 150 villas spread out along a saltwater lagoon and sandy beaches. Each one has a kind-size bed, an open-air sunken bath and a private garden.
If you're traveling with your family, the two-bedroom DoublePool Villa will work well. It fits 4 people, has 2 private pools and a dining patio.

Reviewers note that this is a fantastic spot for a honeymoon. It is said to have the best spa in Phuket just note that there is no beach here. Those who have stayed in the Double Pool Villa say it was worth the money. There are sometimes a few flaws but mostly it's fantastic.
